Directions

Drive 90 minutes north along highway 230, from Clarenville.

As you crest the rise to Bonavista the town is spread out across the valley, and on the far side of the valley are two tall water towers; that's where you aim to be.

Drive across the valley floor, past the Foodland supermarket, and half way up the valley wall you will come to Coster Street.

Turn right on Coster street towards the water towers.

One hundred yards past the water towers, turn left onto Canon Bayley road; do not drive past the cemeteries; do not drive past the little chapel.

Canon Bayley road turns off to your left, a sharp downhill curve, and a couple of hundred yards ahead on your right you will see a fifteen-metre fir tree. The Landfall Garden House is opposite the tree.

Hours: In the 1,300 days since I moved to Bonavista I have been out of town twice, both times to Clarenville, returning the same day. That is, you can be 99.333% certain that when you visit, I am somewhere in Bonavista.
